For Ghemit

This past week the World of Warcraft community lost a wonderful friend and partner.  Our sweet Night Elf Hunter, Ghemit, lost his husband and partner in life.  I was incredibly touched and moved at the showing of both the Twitter and WoW community.

We all came together on Proudmore-US earlier today to help Marti create a nice intro to the event.  It was amazing to see the turn out for even the pre-ceremony.

I arrived 30 minutes early, not expecting too many folks this early on and was amazed with the showing  There’s not much more that I can say. I am in awe with the amount of support shown in this community.

WoW is not a “hive of scum and villiany”.  It is a place of people and relationships. We are a community and I am proud to be a part of it.
